I've had the flu, probably since December 27th, despite having had the flu shot. I haven't slept for the past couple of nights. I have taken anti-virals and am now also on antibiotics for the inevitable opportunistic sinus infection by bacteria. I doubt I'm infectious at this point, and I'm coughing much less feel relatively free of the mild fever that's plagued me the past three days. Clearly on the mend.
Tonight we are heading to the ferry, however. We're staying in a dorm room once again. I shall be staying masked and hygienic but I dread finding a restful way to position myself on the tiny bunk.
