mouse pointer trailers

Well, I'm so old I've turned on pointer trailers on my work PC. Or maybe I should say that the visuals of Windows 11 are so bad, I've turned on pointer trailers on my work PC. My point is, I'm now one of those psychos using pointer trailers.

Three good things that happened today:

  1. Got an AI to do something actually useful. I know, I know...
  2. Averted a crisis in a text chat while breaking up a log-jam at the same time, while in a meeting.
  3. My day ended at eleven hours, no longer

Three reasons to be thankful:

  1. I snuck my daughter 20,000 yen so she and her brother could buy an X'mas gift for their mother -- who never reads this journal -- and they did so.
  2. I don't have to relive the work-day above.
  3. The sun's been shining a lot, of late. Short days and quite cool but yeah, I'll take it.
