What do you call a sunny day that follows two days of rain? Monday!
I put in a day of work at the headquarters, meeting with a few people and generally 'being seen'. The neighborhood near the office doesn't have anything like a shopping district, but I'm finding that there are decent little restaurants and stores inside the neighborhood, like this was some kind of civilization. Today, some colleagues took me to one such Indian restaurant for lunch. In the evening, I suggested that my peers from the other countries join me in trying Surinamese food at another place tucked away in some corner. Both were very good.
