back in Saint Catharines

It was 23:00, but we got to Grandma's place after a marathon jaunt from Tokyo. The flight was delayed by two hours, and it was easily the most turbulent trip I've had between Tokyo and Toronto -- so much so that they skipped the second meal service. And even then, those of us with special meals had been served; that gluten allergy pays off at last!

Three good things that happened today:

1. Arrived safely for our visit to Ontario.
2. My 'bad knee' is reacting but it's manageable and it's left drive so that knee won't take the hit from all the driving.
3. There was some rather nice Canadian bourbon waiting.
