events in Japan

A right wing party touting the slogan 'Japan first' has had significant gains in the election this weekend. The figures above were posted by the national broadcaster, NHK. Something tells me these voters aren't going to be dissuaded by numbers. Speaking of, Japan's domestic population fell by 0.75% in 2024, a pace that is increasing.
I for one look forward to a Japan where they turn off the number of us immigrants who can enter the country. The convenience stores and cheapest restaurants will start closing in droves, and there will be a transformation in restaurants and retail of every kind from today's over-staffing to the usual international under-staffing. The appalling state of English education in the country will only get worse, and sectors like IT will get so bad I could see Japan Inc massively outsourcing to third-parties in other parts of the world. I mean; the Japanese population just can't carry the demand in IT work. Assuming I can somehow hang on, I should be in demand into my 70's.
There's also talk about banning foreigners from buying homes. I'm sure that's the perfect remedy for a situation where there are nine million vacant houses standing.
