long walk in the morning

Being quite jet-lagged, I went for a walk for an hour between 05:30 and 06:30. It is surprisingly hot in Bucharest but I enjoyed it. It's a new city for me and I like it: the traffic on a Monday morning is far faster and more dangerous than what I saw on my walk yesterday, but other wise it's a vibrant place with lots of foot traffic. There are plenty of restaurants from other cultures, and the locals are as tattoo'd and come across as relaxed and happy. It could pass for a Canadian city, which I certainly wasn't expecting. But happier.
