twenty-seven years and one million words
I've been involved in a process by which we're leading 14-hour days for this thing everyday at work. It involves being in a basement from just after sun-up. I managed to slip away to buy some lunch today because of my reduced duties on this eighth day. It was about eight degrees as I made my way to a nearby "Maruetsu" and bought lunch. Looking up, I could see bright white snow blowing on the wind at about five hundred meters elevation under mixed cloud cover. It was breathtaking.
Three reasons to be thankful:
- Almost done with my obligations!
- The Boy is OK with my missing his final game as captain of the all-star basketball team for western Tokyo last week
- I've certainly learned a lot while doing this
