watching Pulp Fiction with my son

the journal of Michael Werneburg

twenty-eight years and a million words

Kokubunji, 2024.03.16

Over the course of a few nights my son and I managed to watch "Pulp Fiction" on Netflix. I have to say, that movie really held up. It was on the "bucket list" movie poster I gave him for his birthday, and I'm glad for the opportunity. He said a few times how good he thought it was. I couldn't help but notice how things have worked out for some of the people who made it or starred in it. Getting old!

rand()m quote

If a person has ugly thoughts, it begins to show on the face. And when that person has ugly thoughts every day, every week, every year, the face gets uglier and uglier until you can hardly bear to look at it. A person who has good thoughts cannot ever be ugly. You can have a wonky nose and a crooked mouth and a double chin and stick-out teeth, but if you have good thoughts it will shine out of your face like sunbeams and you will always look lovely.
