pushing people onto trains

They say you no longer see the staff at train stations pushing people onto trains in Tokyo, but you do indeed. I saw it this morning on a train so crowded I could barely believe it. It happened at Musashi-Sakai, one of the sleepiest stops on the line.
Three good things that happened today:
- I am going back to Fukuoka to see my staff there on the 17th.
- It's good to be able to put together a year-end review and be impressed with your own team's work
- My latest watch build turned out to be underwhelming but I have the most flexible type of movement in the thing and the case takes 28.5mm dials. The world is my oyster.
- Life in Japan can be a drag but on the whole I think less so than Canada.
- We've still got our health, my paycheck's in the mail.
- The worst of the train's crowding is past.
