moon and planet

the journal of Michael Werneburg

twenty-seven years and one million words

Kokubunji, 2023.10.29

I don't know that I've ever seen an evening sky as clear as the one over Tokyo right now. The almost-full moon is casting so much reflection it's not really dark outside, and there's a conspicuously large Jupiter parked a few degrees to the north-west. I managed to shoot a couple of frames of the moon but the planet wasn't well exposed. I guess winter is coming when you have clear air around here!

My grandfather once told me that there are two kinds of people: those who work and those who take the credit. He told me to try to be in the first group; there was less competition there.
