Today Mari drove me and the two Akios down to Kushima, to meet her uncle and board his boat. Mari then went home to tend to Emma, and we boys went out for a completely fruitless day on the water. The weather changed throughout the morning, with a sunny and breezy situation turning windy, cloudy, and cool. We tried a variety of techniques to no avail.
In the afternoon, we headed back and met Mari and a restored Emma.
