Yesterday I was woken at 02:00 by a modest earthquake. Then it happened today around 02:20 and I thought, "Am I dreaming?" When it happened again a few minutes later I couldn't believe it could be earthquakes. But: yup. Two from the five-lakes area near Fuji-san. When in doubt, I check the Japan Meteorological Agency website. For instance, I see that a fourth quake at 17:30 yesterday that I likewise dismissed was also real.
