second vaccination

I've had my second vaccination, in a small clinic in the neighborhood (Kokubunji). It was in my arm within minutes of arrival, it's hard to believe with this sort of Japanese efficiency that the whole country isn't already vaccinated. I didn't know whether I'd actually get this second shot, because many people have reported cancellations by their local city or ward. Really, it was a bit of added tension that I really didn't need in 2021. I'm very thankful the local city has their act together because there were 10,000 new COVID cases across the country on Thursday—7,000 cases in Tokyo alone.
