the trouble with mobile phones (II)
the journal of Michael Werneburg
twenty-seven years and one million words
I didn't get as much done today as I wanted. I've been having trouble sleeping, so I started putting together a management plan to document my plans for this new department I'm managing. It feels good to have a handle on the whole thing. I also completed a leadership course that turned out to be better than I expected. It'll feed my plan in a couple of ways.
Meanwhile I've been doing some digging to try to work out what if anything we'll be able to do with the three mobile phones we've got that appear to be unsupported by any Japanese couriers. Nothing's come to me, but I've confirmed that all three are of two models that just don't exist here. I've decided to turn one of them into a clock by the dining table. I've found an app that acts as a "widget" on the wallpaper of the phone - it shows the temperature, humidity, and the five day forecast. Good enough!
