high speed Internet
the journal of Michael Werneburg
twenty-seven years and one million words
I imagine I'll be laughing at this post some day, but I'm pleased with the high speed of our Internet connection. From the first floor, The Boy got 250 Mbps download and 440 Mbps upload from his iPad (which has a Wifi 6 client). My 8-9 year old laptop, which has an antique 802.11n device, managed 180 Mbps and 150 Mbps. I've managed 40 Mbps either way across the power-line adapter to where we'll plug in the TV. That's encouraging because we'll be using the same for The Boy's room with his high-powered (well, high bandwidth) gaming PC.
