twenty-seven years and one million words

For "Movie Night" my daughter and I watched this flick about a robot that's escaped the Evil Clutches of a boy genius who's been driven somewhat mad and then loses control of the AI he's created. The hero is a plucky female teen and the story line follows the basic linear road to the final confrontation to free the heroes captive family and save the entire planet. It's watchable if not terribly original as trope after trope turns up. My daughter and I do this thing where we keep score of the stuff we predicted (like cinema sins, in a way) and we both did pretty well with this one. Pretty well indeed.

Recommended.

I find television very educating. Every time somebody turns on the set, I go into the other room and read a book.
