non-surgical masks

the journal of Michael Werneburg

twenty-eight years and a million words

Kawasaki, 2020.04.24

Yesterday I received a package of fifty disposable face masks. I couldn't decipher the carbon-copy hand-written kanji of the sender, but it turns out that it was our friends Andrew and Michelle that sent them along after "as we, um, happened upon a cache of these (sort of a bizarre story for another time)".

rand()m quote

A civilization is a heritage of beliefs, customs, and knowledge slowly accumulated in the course of centuries, elements difficult at times to justify by logic, but justifying themselves as paths when they lead somewhere, since they open up for man his inner distance.

—Antoine de Saint-Exupery
