first week working from home

Mari had ordered a small desk and a ball chair so that I would have somewhere to sit while living in this little apartment. It's now turned out that I'll be working from home for weeks (possibly many weeks) and so it's particularly crucial furniture.

My "skip boss" (boss's boss) is also Canadian. As soon as I saw the news that Canada had pulled the plug on the Tokyo Olympics I suggested he and I obtain some US lapel pins. I have to say I think Canada did the right thing. There's only one way to face a virus.
