Today one of my preparations for my likely departure was taking my ancient leather jacket and two very old blazers to the Value Village. Where, I was surprised to learn, they have an unbelievable array of stuff being donated. It's so much that they have heaps of bags of donated stuff. Our case was no different: in addition to my three garments we had three bags of kids' stuff to donate as well.
