tweeting to Gorbachev

twenty-eight years and a million words

So I wrote a tweet to Mikhail Gorbachev to thank him for getting the USSR through the Chernobyl crisis. It occurred to me to do so when watching that mini-series about the incident and its handling.

@mgorbachev I watched "Chernobyl". I realize that it's a fictional account of the incident. It's occurred to me to express my thanks for your leadership during that nightmare. We are all in your debt.
