Living in a city where people routinely are struck down in the streets by an out-of-control driving populace, it's nice to see some small signs of progress. So it was today as I returned home to pick up my phone after dropping The Boy off at his school. I ran into several of the fine folks from 32 Spokes, and our eternally energetic city councilor. Two city staff I've gotten to know were there as well. All in, they were there to acclimatize people to the new contra-flow lane on Corley avenue, a one way street. People on bikes can now legally travel its length against the one-way flow.
