time for our annual hobbling of the city's transit

twenty-seven years and one million words
Toronto, 2019.03.28
Toronto has a long-standing tradition of making plans to do something about its crippled transit system, then scrapping those plans. Each government despises the previous government's plans, and each level of government despises the others. It's a grand old game. Meanwhile, pedestrians and cyclists tend to die at an average rate of about one per week.
Three reasons to be thankful:
- The kids seem to be turning into great people.
- Mari's cautiously making money as a currency trader.
- We've rounded a corner in the massive project to build a new product in my day job.
