I'm a member of a group of cycling advocates in my home "ward" in Toronto, "Beaches-East York" (catchy, I know). We've called ourselves 32 Spokes, and we're on a mission to promote cycling in the area.

It's difficult in times like these: ideals, dreams and cherished hopes rise within us, only to be crushed by grim reality.
