It's been a full month since I posted something to my twenty year old journal. The reason being: sixty hour work weeks. Heavy is the head that wears the vice-presidency of a tiny startup I suppose.
That said, this is the most rewarding gig I've had in this new millennium, so those hours do tend to fly. I'm doing technology work again after a long hiatus, and though we've got 99 problems an audit ain't one. I've put my audit designation behind me and am working directly with a development team. Our product's an interesting one, being a software-defined networking solution for people wishing to have highly robust Internet connections to their cloud applications.
