movie review - Sausage Party

the journal of Michael Werneburg

twenty-seven years and one million words

Toronto, 2018.08.13

This is an animated story about supermarket food products that become aware that they are food stuffs and other disposable products - and then fail to recover from that realization. Instead of finding freedom, they have a giant orgy. There's a plot with an antagonist that's a douche bottle that controls its human captives in a perhaps predictable fashion. Anyway, it's all madness and very puerile. I watched it, but felt that it's not worth a second viewing. I mean, according to my Netflix viewing logs, it took me five years to get around to even writing this much!

Not recommended.

Racism isn't born, folks, it's taught. I have a two-year-old son. You know what he hates? Naps! End of list.
