twenty-seven years and one million words
I've taken the plunge - I'll be installing the OSX license from my now-defunct Mini onto some generic PC gear. I got the list of components from a long-running website, and the parts from a local computer chain store. In other nerd news, I managed to get my old Japanese "tenkeyless" Filco keyboard working again. It's been kicking around for about five years, since I returned from a vacation to find that something had happened while I was away and that it was no longer working. Now I've got true clicky keys under my fingers again. All this time, it just needed the power cord re-seated on the circuit board!
