cycling into strong wind

I rode in against a biting 30kph wind this morning, fallen leaves flapping wetly and low clouds skudding. November in Toronto, what more can I say. All the greater the sense of accomplishment when I got to the office. And the piles of leaves left in the cycle lanes on Woodbine were cleared away.
On the way home, it was in tiny dry crystals of snow. At least that 30kph was at my back. I was blown across the city.
