crapped on again

the journal of Michael Werneburg

twenty-seven years and one million words

Toronto, 2017.10.09

I was crapped on by a bird again, today - for the fifteenth time in my life. Oddly, it happened the day I received a comment on my story about luck and birdcrap. Ah, for the innocent times (up until this morning) when I'd only been crapped on by fourteen birds.

I'd be glad of a dose of luck. I spent half the morning fixing my phone after "soft bricking" the thing while trying to obtain root access.

rand()m quote

A civilization is a heritage of beliefs, customs, and knowledge slowly accumulated in the course of centuries, elements difficult at times to justify by logic, but justifying themselves as paths when they lead somewhere, since they open up for man his inner distance.

—Antoine de Saint-Exupery
