video conferencing at last

twenty-seven years and one million words
If there was any upside to a two-hour conference call last night, it's that my home Internet seems to have stabilized at last. Another $60 expense just to keep us steady. But the symptoms were so ephemeral that it took a month of tweaking to protocols and settings and this new gear to get this far, even with the support of the Teksavvy folks.
As for the call itself; being on the board of a non-profit is a lot of work, frequently involving difficult consensus building and sometimes requiring interrogating the non-profit's staff. Be ye warned!
