twenty-eight years and a million words

The school just sent a note telling us 24 children at the school have head lice. There was a lot of discussion in the email about treating the things. Why do I feel itchy?

Three reasons to be thankful:

1. It's only lice.
2. We don't *know* that our kids will have them.
3. We've made it this far without an incident. Nine years and change is not bad, should our run end here.
