Our son was supposed to attend his first camp on the Toronto islands this summer - it's been cancelled due to flooding. Everything's been cancelled until the end of July at a minimum as of now.
As the video here shows, the islands' integrity as actual land is now challenged, with breaches in two spots and more flooding in the one residential spot.
Three good things that happened today:
- Getting my old numbered company sorted for the purpose of doing some short term contracting.
- Fantastic weather; seriously.
- Made some progress winding down my commitments for a board I departed last month.
