end of an exhausting week

the journal of Michael Werneburg

twenty-seven years and one million words

Toronto, 2017.09.15

It's the end of a week that began with me working past midnight and finished with me abandoning a TTC bus and walking home. Good riddance, week 37 of 2017! Sadly, I've got commitments for a non-profit that will tie me up for much of tomorrow. But so it goes.

Three reasons to be thankful:

  1. At least the new course I've started is invigorating.
  2. The late night on Monday led to a major win for my client's project.
  3. Annnd, there's a new season of Bojack.

rand()m quote

You have to choose between trusting to the natural stability of gold and the natural stability of the honesty and intelligence of the members of the Government. And, with due respect for these gentlemen, I advise you, as long as the Capitalist system lasts, to vote for gold.

—George Bernard Shaw
