It turned out that all this confusion about us being "good parents" came from both of us going to see The Girl for her night terrors. It seems she's learned to be grateful. Now if only the night terrors—the root cause of all of our exhaustion would actually clear up! When we go to see her, she's sometimes shaking with fear. It must be rough.
One of The Boy's friends has been through it at the same time. Her mum pointed out that it was a full moon.
