snow in April
the journal of Michael Werneburg
twenty-seven years and one million words
It has now snowed every day since April Fools Day – coincidence? There was enough that we had to shovel the drive, on Monday.
I realize that it's "polar vortex", but I've been amazed at all of the easterly wind we've had since I came back to Toronto. The weather has definitely changed – wetter, colder, and less stable. One of my favorite little weather sites is Time and Date's historic weather record. And the news has been grim: instead of heating up as the day went on, on Monday it stayed at -6°; yesterday, we saw some sun but the wind never let up; today, it's once again snowing like February. Bleah.
