movie review - The Other Woman

the journal of Michael Werneburg

twenty-seven years and one million words

Toronto, 2015.09.14

I can't explain how I agreed to see this paint-by-numbers revenge piece about a woman who discovers she is not a girlfriend but the other woman. She goes on to befriend her lover's wife and then find a third, much younger girlfriend. What follows is a tale that drifts from one tone to another in the wake of a rather confused plot-line that seems to be trying simultaneously to follow different paths. It's all somewhat disjointed and I found it hard to stay engaged.

Not recommended.

A lot of people lose the spirit of childhood. Every child has a lot of imagination and you lose it little by little. I don't know why, but I kept it.
