We're adding a trailer hitch to our Kia, so we can take the bikes to the cottage on the weekend. It'll be a happy addition should we suddenly find ourselves needing to relocate following a disruption in society/the economy. Double purpose!

Apparently our humble four-cylinder car can tow 2,000kg of stuff. Most modest covered trailers weight about 40% of that.
