took a spill on my bike

the journal of Michael Werneburg

twenty-eight years and a million words

Toronto, 2015.06.11

Pinched between the ruined tracks and an oversized truck parked on the right, I took a bad bounce off of an uneven concrete rim next to the tracks and went down. Two sore knees and one scraped shin, but it was a low-speed impact so I'm relatively okay.

Then, on a park/wasteland trail I saw a hatchling bunny from this year's batch.

rand()m quote

A civilization is a heritage of beliefs, customs, and knowledge slowly accumulated in the course of centuries, elements difficult at times to justify by logic, but justifying themselves as paths when they lead somewhere, since they open up for man his inner distance.

—Antoine de Saint-Exupery
