movie review - Gravity

the journal of Michael Werneburg

twenty-eight years and a million words

Toronto, 2015.05.09

This is a movie about an astronaut who's on a mission when debris strikes the station they're working on, trashing it and the shuttle that brought them. She then decides to get back to Earth. On her own.

I found it beautifully made, well-scripted, and tonally consistent (which I find important). I found the whole thing engrossing. Great characters in a compelling situation with a harrowing set of challenges along the way.

Strongly recommended.

A lot of people lose the spirit of childhood. Every child has a lot of imagination and you lose it little by little. I don't know why, but I kept it.
