1,200 people showed up for our panel at RSA. I've since heard good feedback from a few members of the audience, and of course also some criticism. If any consensus emerged, it was that strong quantitative metrics, especially those presented in dollar terms, can help make crucial business decisions in the information risk space. In my case I cited our focus on the personally identifying information we hold for our clients; this came at the expense of not focusing on shielding our intellectual property to the same degree. It was a great experience. I kept my name placard as a souvenir.
