twenty-eight years and a million words

St. Catharines, ON, 2015.04.02

It took us 3½ hours to drive the 100km to Saint Catharines today, and I was weary and grumbling upon arrival. Then I learned that the fellow across the street, who is about my age, had lost his fourteen month old baby the day before.

Now that engenders some perspective. All my best wishes to the family. I really have no other words.
