Today I managed to convince my son that his aunt found his uncle in a pre-Internet "catalog of husbands". In fact, my yarn was so convincing that Mari fell for it, too. But, the devil is in the details, and when I found myself saying, "No, it was just coincidence that they were classmates," and she believed I thought, nah better come clean. And by come clean I mean start laughing. At length.

If a person has ugly thoughts, it begins to show on the face.
