It was 14ºC this morning, and so cool in the evening that the heat came on in our apartment. One of my coworkers said he'd heard people calling this "Augtober" weather. I have to say I don't really mind too much. After a week at the cottage, the deer fly bites are still hurting. The cold keeps all manner of insects down in the city.
