With just 1 income and 2 kids to feed, I'm the rare photographer who is resisting his wife's urging to buy a new camera. Sure doesn't stop me from looking, though. Today I checked out a Fuji XA-1 with a 23mm lens. A pricey lens on a cheap body, and I'd need a clip-on external viewfinder in many circumstances (and most of those aren't cheap). Still looking...
