gluten-free beer in Japan

the journal of Michael Werneburg

twenty-eight years and a million words

Toronto, 2014.05.18

Mari's just discovered that the whole time I was in Japan, there were gluten-free beers available (dammit).

They're all the "low-malt" beers. Well, "beer-like" drinks, anyway. They're even cheap, running at around a dollar each. She's found three of them on the market so far.

It's nice to know that they're available, but it sure would have been nicer to know during those 35°C summers.

A creative person would prefer their music to be stolen and enjoyed than ignored. This is the dilemma for every creative soul: he or she would prefer to starve and be heard than to eat well and be ignored.
