cycling in dress socks

I was so out of it this morning I cycled to work in a pair of dress socks - it must be Monday. But, today was better than yesterday, which I spent in bed with a day-long migraine. Again. That's twice in three weekends, where the usual rate might be twice in a six month period.
But the day got better.
Three good things that happened today:
- I found an interesting way of conveying some of the results of my dissertation studies.
- I wrote an interesting blog post about it (forthcoming).
- I got my tax return in on time (we take our small victories where we can get them).
