putin mugs make happy

I bought some his-and-hers coffee mugs with images of Vladimir Putin for my brother and his wife. Hers says "I wish husband was like Putin". He tells me, "She takes a sip of coffee and looks at my sidelong." Perfect!
Three good things that happened today:
- Nearly finished with my dissertation
- Avoided the torrential rainstorms that plagued the area today, and cycled home in fine weather
- The burger I ate for lunch was damn near perfect
