I've signed up with an organization called "Cycle Toronto", formerly known as the Toronto Cyclist's Union. They're involved with the promotion of cycling and cycling safety in our (once) fair city, and I'm pleased to see that they have an effort in place to have a much-needed "contra-flow" cycle path on a street in our neighbourhood that is one way for a brief duration. That small one-way portion means I have to cycle half a kilometer out of my way when coming home, or choose an unsafe route.
I'm looking forward to helping out.
