weehoo and eastern kingbird

the journal of Michael Werneburg

twenty-seven years and one million words

Toronto, 2013.05.19

Ken and I took to the cycle paths today, heading to Leslie Spit, then up the Don Valley as far as Riverdale Park, then across to home. Five year old Ken loves the Weehoo bike trailer - it's comfortable and allows him to pedal as we go.

We saw quite a few birds (even more than we saw birders), including what I now believe was an Eastern Kingbird. It was a beautiful morning.

The manufacturers of the bike trailer gave us a 10% discount coupon so I'm going around telling everyone.

rand()m quote

A creative person would prefer their music to be stolen and enjoyed than ignored. This is the dilemma for every creative soul: he or she would prefer to starve and be heard than to eat well and be ignored.
