accounting is more interesting than I would have guessed

the journal of Michael Werneburg

twenty-eight years and a million words

Toronto, 2013.04.29

In preparation for the final exam in my quest for the CIA designation, I'm reading a book on Accounting. It's more interesting than I would have guessed, and certainly a helpful piece of the puzzle for my current gig as a "risk manager". In fact, I'm starting to see new angles by which I can root around, turning up stones and up-ending apple carts.

Mwahahahaha.

rand()m quote

It's difficult in times like these: ideals, dreams and cherished hopes rise within us, only to be crushed by grim reality. It's a wonder I haven't abandoned all my ideals, they seem so absurd and impractical. Yet I cling to them because I still believe, in spite of everything, that people are truly good at heart.
