It took me nearly a year, but I've finished this book at last. "The Fourth Turning" puts a lot of things in context. And by "a lot of things", I mean, as I say in my review, "the general slide into amoral, impoverished, and destructive rudderlessness that's seemed to plague the 'Anglosphere' during the whole course of my lifetime while we burn off the planet's resources and poison the place".
